Forsyth County Education Foundation to hold 5th annual Duck Dive

Forsyth County Education Foundation recently announced the 2024 Duck Dive, a raffle to raise money for schools in the county. 

The foundation said in a press release the raffle began Friday and the deadline to join the raffle is Mar. 29. The drawing will be held Mar. 29 at 1 p.m. at the Cumming Aquatic Center. 

The Forsyth County Education Foundation has provided nearly $590,000 in grants for Forsyth County Schools. The 2023 Duck Dive provided 26 grants totaling $109,000 to schools. 

All duck adopters are invited to name The Duck for his 5th birthday. 

Duck adoptions are $10 each. Students, employees and community members are invited to adopt rubber ducks for the chance to win $10,000. 

The Duck Dive will be broadcast virtually on the day of the drawing. 

When a duck is adopted the adopter will be assigned a duck number. The list of duck numbers will be available by midnight on March 22nd. 

All money raised from the Duck Dive for Education will be used for grants for projects in Forsyth County Schools.
