It's a very light schedule on the diamond Friday as just nine northeast Georgia area teams will be in action, only two at home.
There are no region matchups scheduled as most every team is still in non-region play.
However, Flowery Branch opens play in a tournament in Houston County against Mary Persons. The Falcons will take on defending Class 6A champion Houston County on Saturday as one of three games in two days.
