FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Flowery Branch won its second game in as many days, beating Oconee County 4-1 at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex on Saturday.
The Falcons (2-1) scored two runs each in the third and fifth. Tristan Browning smacked a two-run home run and Kyle Adamec and Tyler Folkers each drove in one run. Folkers and Antonio De La Torre each had two hits for Branch. Anthony Almeroth also had one hit for the Falcons.
Chase Hammock got the win tossing five innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit while fanning two. Colin Basham pitched a perfect sixth and David Ojeda gave up one run in on two hits in the seventh.
Flowery Branch is off until taking part in a tournament at at Houston County with Mary Persons, North Paulding, and Houston County on Friday.

HABERSHAM CENTRAL 2
The Trojans rallied from an early deficit and used a six-run fifth inning roll to a win at Lynn Cottrell Field on Saturday.
Kenny Foudy had two hits, including a solo home run, and Ajay Jones, Mills Lothridge, and Jon Jon Read all had two hits as part of an 11-hit attack for North Hall (3-0).
Habersham Central opened the game with a run in the first on a Spencer Frady RBI single. The Raiders scored a run in the third on a RBI hit by Konner Burrell.
Kaleb Sexton earned the win for North Hall going two innings to start the game, allowing one run on one hit. Luke Sanders pitched three innings and Campbell Payton pitched two innings in relief, giving up one run on one and striking out five combined.
Burrell took the loss for Habersham Central surrendering four runs, just one earned, on five hits and a walk in 1 2/3 innings.
