GAINESVILLE, Ga. — East Forsyth has hired Blake Cagle as its new head softball coach.
East Forsyth athletic director Matt Hollis made the announcement via press release on Wednesday. Cagle leaves the same post at Flowery Branch. He took over the Lady Falcons in 2020.
Cagle led the Lady Falcons to the region championship and an undefeated season in 2020. Flowery Branch was 8-19 last season. During his tenure as head coach, he led Flowery Branch to two second-round playoff appearances in 2020 and 2022 and a Class 4A Elite 8 appearance in 2021.
