Braselton's Town Manager is gaining more recognition for her services inside and outside of the community.

Jennifer Scott has been reappointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2024 Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Federal Advocacy Committee. The appointment was recently announced by NLC President, Mayor David Sander of Rancho Cordova, California.

A release from the National League of Cities says that Ms. Scott was elected to a one-year term and will provide strategic direction and guidance for their federal advocacy agenda and policy priorities on taxes that affect cities, towns and villages, voting and voter protections, advancing housing finance legislation, and more points of interest.

Mayor Sander says, “NLC’s federal advocacy committees play an important role in helping policymakers in Washington understand the issues and challenges facing America’s cities, towns and villages at the local level. I’m thrilled to have Jennifer serve another term on NLC’s Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Federal Advocacy Committee this year, and look forward to working with her to strengthen the federal-local partnership and grow our common knowledge of the issues. ”

Scott has served as a public employee for more than 25 years with Braselton's local government.
