The Community Development office in Braselton is seeking dedicated volunteers for the Braselton Bee Team.
Since its revitalization in 2023, the team has boasted a group of more than 40 active community members.
Bee Team members collaborate with town staff and community leaders to ensure the execution of events such as holiday parades, festivals and wine walks.
Volunteers also assist with administrative tasks, while others help curate historical archives for display at The 1904.
Community members interested in joining the program can apply online.
New members must attend an orientation session and participate in a history tour.
The next orientation is scheduled for early February.
After completion of the orientation, volunteers will receive their official Bee Team uniform, which includes a custom T-shirt and name tag, to wear during their shifts.
Members will also enjoy additional perks, including specialized training, social gatherings, newsletters and eligibility for Buy Local Braselton eGift cards.
Volunteers may even gain access to ticketed events after completing their shifts.
