Mackay Vinton was named Belle of the Ball Saturday night during the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County’s 72nd Charity Ball Fundraiser.
A senior at Lakeview Academy, Vinton represented the Gainesville Jaycees as one of 12 Belle Candidates. Other candidates for the title were:

Each year, candidates raise money for the organization's community initiatives. The Belle Candidate who raises the most money is crowned the Belle of the Ball at the annual event. This year’s ball was held at the Ramsey Conference Center at Lanier Technical College.
