Hall Co. RV fire displaces five, severely damages residence

An RV fire in Hall County extended to the residence, severely damaging the home and displacing five people.

At 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) was called to Bluffton Drive for an RV fire that was roughly 10-ft away from the residence.

First arriving units arrived on scene to the RV fully involved with the flames spreading to the grass around the home. 

The fire reached the side of the residence, extending into the attic. 

Crews worked to extinguish the RV while trying to source the flames that spread into the home.

By the time crews got inside, the entire attic was damaged. 

No one was injured, but the American Red Cross was notified for the three adults, two children, and four dogs that were displaced. 

The RV is a total loss according to HCFR and the home took significant damage to the attic. 

The cause is unknown and the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
