FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Jason Tester will not return as head football coach at Flowery Branch, the school announced on Tuesday.
After Ben Hall left for Oconee County, Tester was elevated to head coach in 2022. He's led the Falcons to back-to-back playoff appearances and compiled a 12-20 overall record. The 2023 campaign was the best finish of his three seasons, going 5-5.
“We are grateful to Coach Tester for leading our program for the last 3 years," Branch athletic director Jimmy Lawler said. "He is a fine man and worked hard to get the most out of our players.”
When reached for comment, Tester declined.
Lawler said a search for a new head coach is underway.
