For most of the teams in Northeast Georgia, the first week of the playoffs didn't go well. But for six of our area teams, the 2024 season has yet to come to a close.
North Hall had the most exciting game of the night go their way, defeating Gilmer in overtime, 21-14. Commerce held on to take down Bremen, 35-28.
Buford dominated East Coweta in a 57-9 first round final, setting up another game in Tom Riden Stadium next week. Jefferson ran away from Monroe, while Cherokee Bluff took down Monroe Area.
Lanier Christian will play for the GAPPS 11-man championship next week after blowing out Skipstone Academy.
You can check AccessWDUN's Friday Game Night page for game stories and video highlights.
