FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Forsyth Central used a big third quarter en route to a 60-46 win over Flowery Branch on Thursday.
The game was tied at 10 after the first quarter and the Bulldogs (2-1) led just 25-24 at halftime. But Central outscored the Falcons (3-1) 25-14 in the third to run out to a a 50-38 lead. Branch could not get closer.
Landon Mealor paced Branch with 18 points. Brayden Lee added 11 points for the Falcons.
Forsyth Central was led by Caleb Drummer's 19 points. Daylen Hargrove poured in 16 points for the Bulldogs.
Flowery Branch next will play host to Jackson County on Tuesday.
