A Gainesville resident has been named to the Leadership Georgia's Class of 2025.

Willis Investment Counsel’s Director of Relationship Management Natalie Challen was one of 63 members selected and just one of two from Gainesville.

“I’m so honored to be selected for Leadership Georgia,” Challen said. “I look forward to meeting professionals from around the state and learning about crucial issues our state faces.”

Challen also serves as vice-chair for the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, the president of Northeast Georgia Health Systems Auxiliary, and treasurer of Lakeview Academy’s Board of Trustees.

Leadership Georgia is a years-long leadership training program for young business, civic, and community leaders. Throughout the year, participants learn about important issues the state faces along with potential solutions.

City of Gainesville Assistant City Manager Angela Sheppard is also a member of this year’s class.

Willis Investment Counsel manages investment portfolios for private individuals, institutions, pension funds, and 401(k) plans among other entities. The Gainesville-based firm has clients in 17 states across the United States.
