Incumbent Republican Bo Hatchett is the projected winner against Democrat June Krise in the race for Georgia State Senate District 50.
As of 8:50 p.m., Hatchett leads 84-percent to 16-percent with seven of nine localities reporting.
State Senate District 50 covers eastern Hall County, Banks, Habersham, Rabun, Towns Counties, and eastern White County.
