LEXINGTON, Ga. – Banks County wrapped up their season on a high note, beating Oglethorpe County in overtime, 29-23.
The Leopards led 23-20 late before the Patriots hit a 33-yard field goal as time expired to force overtime. Banks County intercepted a pass on the second play of overtime before Lane Morris clinched the game with a 6-yard rushing touchdown.
Morris finished the night with 92 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while Wyatt Whitfield added 98 yards on the ground with a touchdown.
The Leopards finish the season 2-8.
