White County is reporting that they responded to a second commercial vehicle accident on Tuesday.
Officials say that at around 9:30 p.m., they received a report of the wreck on Richard Russell Scenic Highway.
The caller who reported the accident was able to guide first responders to the location.
First-arriving units found a tractor-trailer roughly 100-yards off the roadway.
The only occupant was treated and transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
The commercial vehicle was operated by Tomahawk Crane and Rigging out of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Due to the size of the vehicle and nature of the wreck, Payne’s Wrecker Service and their emergency spill response team were dispatched to assist.
The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) and the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s (GDPS) Motor Carrier Compliance Division are investigating the accident.
The road was closed into the afternoon on Wednesday, with it finally reopening by 5 p.m.
