An evening crash involving a truck carrying building materials leaves a driver with injuries Tuesday night.
Units from Habersham County Emergency Services and the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported wreck with injuries on State Highway 365 southbound before Cody Road.
A Ford F-350 flatbed truck loaded with concrete blocks blew a tire and traveled off the southbound lanes and struck a tree.
The unidentified female driver complained of injuries and was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, just after 6:40 p.m.
Habersham County Sheriff's spokesman Rob Moore reported that the southbound lanes of Hwy. 365 were closed nearly 30 minutes to allow towing operators to remove the truck after 7:40 p.m.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating more details behind the wreck.
