The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested two White County men on Oct. 24 for sexual exploitation of children in two different investigations.
The GBI said their Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit arrested Jonathan Sells, 39, of Cleveland, and Thomas Walker, 37, of Helen for allegedly possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
Authorities began investigating their online activity in May.
The White County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations assisted the GBI with the arrest of Sells. The Helen Police Department assisted the GBI with the arrest of Walker.
Sells was also charged with the destruction of evidence.
Both men were booked into the White County Jail.
