ALPHARETTA, Ga. – North Forsyth got back on the winning track with a 24-14 win over Alpharetta Friday night.
Colter Vela had a career night for the Raiders, rushing for three touchdowns, the first two of which came in the first quarter to give North Forsyth a 14-0 lead. His third came just after the halftime break when he broke free for 42 yards and a 21-6 lead. Austin Chavarria hit a 22-yard chip shot early in the fourth quarter to get the game to its final score.
Vela had 54 yards on just eight carries to get his three touchdowns. The Raiders rushed for 269 yards on the night.
North Forsyth will wrap up the regular season at Raider Valley against Forsyth Central next week.
