Six people were hurt, including one who was medflighted away, from a multi-vehicle wreck in Habersham County on Monday evening.
Habersham County Spokesman Rob Moore's release said several county emergency units joined the Cities of Baldwin and Cornelia, along with Banks County emergency responders in covering a crash that blocked all of Highway 365 in both directions by Duncan Bridge Road (State Route 384) in Baldwin after 5:15 p.m.
Images from the wreck showed a gray colored Ford F-150 truck was overturned during the crash, which also involved at least two other passenger vehicles at the crossing. Five occuapnts of the vehicles were taken by ambulance to nearby hosptials for treatment to minor injuries while a sixth person was flown from the scene by Air Life Georgia 2 medical helicopter with serious injuries. Names of those involved in the crash, along with details behind the exact cause for the crash have not been released by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), as their investigation continues.
Crash scene was eventually cleared by Habersham officials , with some of Highway 365's lanes opened by 6:20 p.m. with all area roads re-opened by 7:40 p.m.
