A Blairsville man was arrested on Monday after a shooting on Friday, Oct. 11 at the Sand Bar on Hwy. 76.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office said Caleb Avery Hughes, 24 was armed with a gun when he entered a parked vehicle with three passengers inside.
One man was shot in the leg and Hughes was shot in the arm during a struggle.
Two women in the car were uninjured during the incident. One of the women was Hughes' estranged girlfriend.
Both men were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and released on Sunday.
The case remains under investigation.

Two people were injured after a domestic-related shooting in Towns County on Friday.
The Towns County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) reported in a Facebook post that officers responded to the Sand Bar & Grille on Highway 76 just after 11 p.m.
The investigation revealed that one person allegedly approached a vehicle in the parking lot of the business with a handgun.
Officials said a confrontation took place inside of the vehicle that resulted in two people being hurt.
Both of them were taken to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville with non-life-threatening injuries and are in stable condition.
The early investigation indicated that this is a domestic-related incident.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is assisting TCSO and the case is ongoing.
