COAL MOUNTAIN, Ga. – North Forsyth stormed back in the third quarter to tie the game, but North Atlanta scored the final 10 points of the game to defeat the Raiders, 27-17, Friday night.
After North Atlanta took a 17-0 lead early, Austin Chavarria got the Raiders on the board at the halftime horn with a 29-yard field goal to trail 17-3 at halftime. North Forsyth came out in the third quarter and got to work as Colter Vela had a pair of 1-yard scores to tie the game up with 1:30 to go in the third quarter.
North Atlanta responed with 8:45 to go in the game with a 21-yard passing score and iced the game with a 39-yard field goal with 19 seconds to play.
Elijah Seaney threw for 211 yards on 21-of-36 passing.
The Raiders will look to bounce back when they travel to West Forsyth next week.
