The Gainesville Jaycees have opened applications for the 2023 Young Man and Young Woman of the Year awards.
The awards highlight a young man and young woman who have demonstrated volunteer efforts and provided civic services to the Gainesville/ Hall County community.
The winners will be honored at a banquet at the Chattahoochee Country Club on February 29th.
Notable community members to have received the honor in years past include Don Carter (1967), former governor Nathan Deal (1973), Hart Wilheight Payne (2010), and Katie Dubnick (2019).
The 2022 Young Man and Young Woman Award winners were Nathan Crumley and Erin Williamson.
