With every team still focused on the region schedule over the next month and one-half, the thought of the semifinals may be a distant thought right now.
Nevertheless, the Georgia High School Association is always thinking ahead. The organization that governs the more than 450 schools in Georgia has released five different sites for the semifinal games in the GHSA state basketball tournament.
The semifinals are set to be played March 1-2, with game times at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at all sites.

Friday, March 1
Class 5A -- University of West Georgia
Class A, Div. 1 -- Georgia College & State University
Class A, Div. 2 -- Ft. Valley State University
Saturday, March 2
Class 7A -- Georgia State University
Class 6A -- University of West Georgia
Class 4A -- Ft. Valley State University
Class 3A -- Savannah State University
Class 2A -- Georgia College & State University
