Three cooperatively managed campgrounds now open for reservations

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Hall County announced the opening of reservations Tuesday for three area campgrounds following shifts in management.

After approval votes by the Hall County Board of Commissioners in October and final approval by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, three Hall County campgrounds recently shifted management to a cooperative style, according to officials.

Bolding Mill, Duckett Mill and Old Federal Campgrounds are all now under joint management by both the Corps and Hall County Parks and Leisure Services.

Bolding Mill Campground reservations opened by 12 p.m. on Jan. 1.

Duckett Mill Campground reservations opened by 12 p.m. today.

Old Federal Campground reservations are set to open by 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Reservations for each of the campgrounds can be made up to one year in advance and are available by clicking here.

For America the Beautiful pass holders, there will reportedly be a temporary delay in applying discounts during the online reservation process. In order to receive a discount, email [email protected] or [email protected] with the following information:

  • America the Beautiful Interagency Pass program type
  • Reservation confirmation number
  • Pass holders name (must match the reservation)
  • Pass number (located below the barcode)

The Corps reminds those with ATB passes to bring their Interagency Pass and photo ID of the pass holder when checking in at the campground.
