Seasonal changes and lower prices are starting the new work week on a positive note for Georgia commuters.
AAA of Georgia's website reports the price for unleaded regular gasoline continues to decline, as the average price (today) sits at $3.30 per gallon. That's nine cents lower than one week ago and 29 cents below the price from a month ago.
Montrae Waiters of AAA contributes the switch to less expensive winter blend gasoline and Governor Kemp's suspension of the gas tax as the driving forces behind the decline.
Hall County drivers are seeing an average price of $3.24 per gallon at the pump, with the lowest average price in Northeast Georgia in Stephens County at $3.22 per gallon, as of Monday.
