The city of Cornelia is inviting residents and visitors to attend its 35th annual Big Red Apple Festival this coming weekend.
A release from the city said this year's event will be held on Saturday, September 23 in downtown from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The festival will feature craft vendors, food and activities including axe throwing, cornhole and a mechanical bull.
The city is still looking for volunteers to help staff this year's event. A link to sign up to volunteer and more information on the event can be found on Cornelia Main Street's Facebook page.
