A single-vehicle wreck in Jackson County Friday morning left two people with injuries on I-85 after a BMW hit a guard rail and overturned.

Georgia State Patrol troopers responded at approximately 11:05 a.m. Friday to a wreck that occurred on I-85 northbound near mile marker 133 in Jackson County.

Initial reports indicated a 2013 BMW X5 was traveling northbound when it ran off the right shoulder, struck a guard rail and overturned. One person in the vehicle was ejected, according to the West Jackson Fire Department.

The driver received minor injuries while the front seat passenger received serious injuries, the GSP said Friday. There was a minor in the back seat at the time of the wreck, but they were not injured.
