Jake Garcia grabs Southern Super Series win at Cordele

Jake Garcia scored a home state victory in Saturday night’s Southern Super Series race at Crisp Motorsports Park in Cordele, Georgia.

The Monroe, Georgia speedster, who is also competing full time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season, bypassed Stephen Nasse late in the going of the Georgia Summer Nationals at the 3/8-mile asphalt raceway.

From there, Garcia held off Jake Finch to score his third series win of the season.

Giovanni Ruggiero followed in third, with Nasse in fourth, and Michael Hinde in fifth.

Colin Allman, Cody Krucker, Hunter Wright, Jackson Boone, and Dylan Bigley rounded out the top 10.
