A Clarkesville man was killed Friday evening after he was hit by a vehicle on Georgia 17 near Daniel Road.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Robert Reeves was pushing a bicycle at about 9:30 p.m. when he was struck by the vehicle, which was traveling north on Georgia 17.
The agency said they have not determined whether Reeves was on the shoulder or in the roadway at the time of the accident. They also do not have any information on the make or model of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.
The Georgia State Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
