The Georgia Association of Conservation Districts recently honored Mike Haynes for his 40 years of service as the district supervisor of the Hall County Conservation District.
The GACD recognizes district supervisors every year for their dedication to their local Conservation District and natural resource conservation.
The GACD said they award a pin of service to supervisors who reach 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 year milestones of service.
“We appreciate the tireless efforts made by District Supervisors in conserving, protecting, and improving the natural resources in their local areas,” The GACD said.
The GACD said they are lucky to have multiple people willing to make long-term commitments as District Supervisors on the boards of their local Conservation Districts.
