OAKWOOD, Ga. – Banks County tallied over 360 yards of total offense in a 53-13 win over Johnson Friday night.
The Leopards put up 246 yards on the ground, including Aucy Jacobs' nine carries for 70 yards and two scores and Aaron Scott's two touches for 87 yards and a touchdown. Kolby Watson went 4-for-9 through the air for 117 yards and two touchdowns, one to Judd Shoemaker and the other to Lane Morris.
Defensively, Banks County had a pair of pick-sixes and three total interceptions. Caden Watson had two picks, one of which went back for a touchdown, and Shoemaker had a pick-six as well.
The Leopards will be on the road again next week as they travel to Oglethorpe County. Johnson will head to West Hall for the Battle of Oakwood.
