Wet weather took it’s toll on racing plans for several area tracks over the weekend, with Saturday storms rolling through late in the day, washing out planned events.
Georgia’s Senoia Raceway was slated to host the USCS Sprint Car Series, only to see the event washed out by the late afternoon storms. Senoia is slated to return to action on Saturday, August 19. Visit SenoiaRaceway1969.com for more information.
Meanwhile, the USCS Sprint Cars travel Lexington 104 Speedway at Lexington, Tennessee on Friday, August 18, before moving on to Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday, August 19. Check USCSRacing.com.
Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina was set to celebrate the track’s 60th anniversary on Friday night, but the wet weather led track officials to postpone the event.
