The Hall County Family Connections Network and the Gainesville City School System have announced Kyndra Rucker Cohen was recently appointed as director of the network and lead administrator at the new Butler Center.
According to a press release from the Hall County Family Connections Network, Cohen was appointed to the role following an extensive search. Cohen will spearhead partnerships with schools, local governments, nonprofit agencies and families to help local children succeed in school and life. She will also serve as the lead administrator of the new Butler Center that is due to open in fall 2023.
“Cohen has a proven track record of fostering partnerships and driving positive change and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role," HCFCN Chairwoman, Phillippa Lewis Moss said. "Cohen’s deep understanding of community dynamics, coupled with her passion for social impact, make her an invaluable asset to both HCFCN and GCSS.”
Cohen will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless connection between HCFCN and area school systems, ensuring the needs of the children and families are met effectively. She will collaborate with a diverse range of educators, social workers, healthcare professionals and community leaders to help provide and promote programs and initiatives that will help the well-being of children and families in Gainesville-Hall County.
