FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Senior quarterback Tristan Gabrels, who was expected to win the Buford starting position until Dylan Raiola, the nation’s No. 1 quarterback prospect, transferred in, has transferred to Flowery Branch.
Gabrels’ father Jason confirmed in a Direct Message on Twitter on Saturday that Tristan Gabrels enrolled at Flowery Branch on Thursday and practiced with the Falcons on Friday. Tristan Gabrels was locked in a QB battle with Christian Langford before Raiola transferred to Buford.
Playing in 9 games in 2022 for the Wolves, Gabrels connected on 21-of-30 passes for 421yards and 6 TD. He also ran for four scores as well.
