Mic'd Up: Mobbs returns to Georgia; has Panthers moving in right direction

By Seth Chapman Videographer

HOSCHTON, Ga. — Korey Mobbs has taken over at Jackson County and dons the mic for the first time.

Mobbs returns to Georgia after leaving Lanier High School for Knoxville Catholic in Tennessee in 2021. After two seasons, he is back in Northeast Georgia as the Panther's new head coach.

He brings a new offensive strategy and the same tough-minded defense from his time at Lanier.

We stopped by practice this week to catch up with coach Mobbs and the rest of the Panthers as he puts on the mic for the first time in our series.
