A structure fire in Lula has left extensive damage to a building on a residential property.
A release from Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols said units from Banks County Fire & Emergency Services responded Thursday afternoon to 277 Railroad Ave in Lula to a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, units found an outbuilding next to a residence heavily involved with fire. The building was quickly extinguished.
No one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation.
No injuries were reported and the building is listed as a total loss.
