By Steve Winslow Anchor/Reporter

Lawrenceville's Mayor and City Council finalized unanimous approval of the City's Fiscal Year 2024 budget this week, believed to be the largest in city's 202-year history.

A release from the city offices Wednesday night says the $200 million Fiscal Year 2024 budget reflects the commitment to residents and future development.

It primarily emphasizes funding for community engagement, critical infrastructure improvements, and staff retention and recruitment.

The budget includes significant regional improvements in the New Hope Road/Sandalwood development to fortify the City's Critical Infrastructure.
