A new designation has been bestowed upon one of Hall County Fire Rescue's Special Operations Chiefs.
A release from Hall County Government indicated that on Monday, June 12th, Chief Kris Boggs received a professional designation as Chief Fire Officer (CFO) through the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
The designation followed a process where Chief Boggs was recognized for his education, leadership, knowledge and management skills with fire and emergency services.
Hall's Fire Rescue Chief Chris Armstrong adds that with Boggs' latest designation, there are now three with such an honor within Hall County's Fire Rescue Department, with just 70 such CFO's recognized statewide.
