The Hall County Animal Shelter, along with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and Best Friends Animal Society will host a “Lunch and Learn” event Thursday, June 15 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The "Lunch and Learn" will be held at the North Hall Community Center's Community Room to give interested citizens and stakeholders an inside look at its operations, procedures and more.
The Best Friends Animal Society team provides customized assessments and support to animal shelters and communities they serve, in order to help improve operations.
Speakers at the event include Dr. Kathryn Storm, the new HCAS on-site veterinarian; Allison Mayfield, president and CEO of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and representatives from Best Friends Animal Society.
The Lunch and Learn event will be held inside the Community Room at the North Hall Community Center located at 4175 Nopone Road in Gainesville. Lunch will be provided and the event is free to attend.
