The Habersham County Canning Plant will be opening for the season on Monday, June 26.
The canning plant will be open during the summer on Mondays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon.
During the school year, starting Aug. 8, the plant will be open Mondays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon.
All products must be in the jar or can prior to closing time.
The cost for using the canning plant is $0.35 per jar (you provide your own jars) or $1.75 per can (they can provide the can and lid).
Customers are asked to not enter the facility if they are exhibiting any symptoms, or have knowingly been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
Habersham County Canning Plant is located at 901 Fairview School Road, Demorest.
