Dawson County Sheriff's investigators ask residents to be on the lookout for a male suspect who allegedly stole a kayak from a local river launch pad.
The sheriff's office Facebook post said a white male between the ages of 18-21 with dirty blonde hair, a thin beard, and a medium build was seen taking a kayak from the Etowah River Canoe launch on June 4th.
The male suspect left the scene driving a red Ford Ranger extended cab with a Georgia tag.
Anyone with details on the suspect or truck used in the theft is asked to contact Dawson County Sheriff's investigators at 706-344-3636 for further leads.
