Gwinnett County Police release names of those involved in double shooting

Gwinnett County Police have identified the two men involved in a double shooting Saturday night at the intersection of Valley Club Drive and Sugarloaf Parkway that left one dead and another seriously injured.
 
According to a press release, Jerimiah Lindsey, 20, of Suwanee died at the hospital and Douglas Ward, 20, suffered serious injuries.  
 
Detectives are still seeking tips through Crime Stoppers.  Tipsters are encouraged to call 404.577.8477.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently investigating a double shooting that left one male dead and another male seriously injured.
  
Shortly before 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 27 officers were dispatched to a “Shots Fired” call at the intersection of Valley Club Drive and Sugarloaf Parkway. 
 
On their way to the scene, officers learned the two victims were being transported to a local hospital. 
 
Upon arrival at the hospital, they located one deceased male and one male with serious injuries.
 
GCPD Crime Scene Investigators say that multiple vehicles were involved in the shooting and are currently looking to identify and locate those vehicles.
 
No motives have been identified and investigators are continuing to search the area for any witnesses or security footage of the incident.
