Mind Matters: Green discusses CDC report on mental health issues facing teen girls

Dr. Kristen Green, a licensed psychologist in Gainesville specializing in helping children and adolescents, discusses a recent CDC study that reveals teens girls are engulfed in a wave of anxiety and trauma.

She has more than 28 years’ experience in working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting. She is a Board Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist

Green was the fourth guest in the Mind Matters series, airing each Wednesday in May. The series looks at community efforts to help people with mental illness get the treatment the need.

She appeared on WDUN's "Newsroom" on Wednesday, May 24.
