By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

A Dahlonega man was arrested last week after authorities said they found a large amount of methamphetamine at a home in western Lumpkin County.

In a social media post, Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office officials said the search at a home on Wildflower Trail on May 8 yielded 530 grams, more than a pound, of meth as well as prop U.S. currency. Shaun Edward Cleveland, age 37, was arrested at the scene.

Cleveland remains in the Lumpkin County Jail without bond as of Monday afternoon.
