Forsyth County's 911 Center gains acclaimed recognition

By Access WDUN Staff

The Forsyth County 911 Center has been recognized by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) following a months-long training program with the Missing Kids Readiness Program.

A release from Forsyth County's Public Information Office says that the training program promotes practices for responding to calls of missing, abducted and sexually exploited children.

Forsyth's 911 Center and EMA Director Tom Cisco says in the release that the recognition demonstrates how Forsyth County goes above and beyond for excellence in public safety services

To meet the requirements of the program, the Forsyth County 911 Center also worked with NCMEC on its missing child policy to ensure the County meets the critical elements of NCMEC’s model policy for call center agencies.
