Powerlifters across Northeast Georgia will compete in the annual Georgia Powerlifting Games on Saturday at Rise Athletic Club in Oakwood.
If you want to attend the event, event organizer R. Garry Glenn said spots are still available.
"Athletes may register online or in person, even on the day of the meet," he said. "Weigh-ins will be held on Friday evening and Saturday morning."
Full-power; push/pull; bench-only, and deadlift-only, in the various age and weight classes for men and women, will be contested. Competitors may enter more than one category for an extra fee.
