GBI asking public to help find missing Blairsville man

By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

The GBI and Union County Sheriff's Office are both asking the public to help them find a Blairsville man who has been missing for over a week.

In a social media post, the bureau said Cordell McMillan, age 21, was last seen walking away from his home on Nichols Cirlce on the morning of April 28. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and a backpack and authorities said he may have made his way towards Atlanta.

McMillan is described as a white man standing 5-foot-9 and weighing around 120 pounds. Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact either the GBI's Cleveland office by calling 706‐348‐4866 or call the Union County Sheriff's Office at 706‐439‐6066.

Anonymous tips can also be made on the GBI's website.
