Gwinnett County Police have confirmed the identity of the man who was shot early Saturday morning on Oak Vista Court.
Jonathan Royce Wiley Jr., 21, was found dead after being shot multiple times in his home. Detectives encourage anyone with information on the case to contact them (770) 513-5300.
As of 5:52 p.m. Saturday:
Gwinnett County Police Officers located an adult male early Saturday morning who had been shot and killed on Oak Vista Court in Lawrenceville.
Officers responded to a dispatch call at approximately 2:00 a.m. Once on the scene, they found a deceased male with several gunshot wounds. The GCPD Homicide and Crime Scene Investigations Units are reportedly conducting an active investigation.
According to a release, the motive for the shooting remains unclear at this time. More information will be released as it becomes available.
