Friends of Lyman Hall to present elementary school production of The Jungle Book

By Lawson Smith Reporter

The Friends of Lyman Hall have invited the community on Saturday to a free viewing of Disney’s Jungle Book Kids, presented by students of Lyman Hall Elementary School.

This presentation, sponsored by the Friends of Lyman Hall and supported by several local businesses, will be the first ever of its kind for the elementary school.  The show will start at 2 p.m. at the Chestatee High School Theatre.

According to a press release, the students have been working with residents of the Village at Deaton Creek for the past several months to bring the show to the community. The organization says it hopes to not only share the students' talents with the audience but also introduce the next generation to theater and production performance.

Those who attend the show are encouraged to bring their friends and family to help encourage the students.
