Chris Woods took no prisoners in Saturday night’s season opener at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway.
The Statham, Georgia speedster took home a pair of winner’s trophies on the night, as he wheeled to the victory in both the Limited Late Model and 602 features at the ¼-mile clay raceway.
In the Limited Late Model feature, Woods beat out Rod Roberts to take top honors. Ken Lampp followed in third, with Joe Yarbrough in fourth, and Tyler Woods in fifth.
In the 602 feature, Woods held off James Cason to take the trip to victory lane. Josh Lewis was third, with Cade Cagle fourth, and William Booth fifth.
In other action, Aaron Calvert took the win in the Modified Street feature, with Jeffery Lampp in second, John Anderson in third, Aaron Criswell in fourth, and B.J. Franklin in fifth.
Ronnie Poole was the winner in the Stock V8 feature. Mark Chancey came home in second, with Chad Puckett in third, and Chris Rauser in fifth.
J.J. Garrett crossed under the checkered flag first to win the Stock 4A feature. Zack Cox, Russell Shore, Aaron Cronic, and Nicholas Fulcher rounded out the top five.
Justyn Jacobs scored the win in the Stock 4B feature, with Nicole Proctor second, Bryson Briscoe third, Adam Jones fourth, and Mark Proctor fifth.
Wayne Chapman took the victory in the Front Wheel Drive feature. William Earnest followed in second, with Steven Shedd in third, Jake McBride in fourth, and Kenneth House, Jr. in fifth.
